Our Teams

1 - CONSULTANCY PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM

Rod Spires, Barry Moore, Emily Scraggs, Nic Boyns

This core team is supported by some twenty consultants with specialisms in business development and enterprise, innovation and technology transfer, sectors and clusters, inward investment, labour markets and training, neighbourhood renewal and social inclusion, and property initiatives. We are also supported by associates who work as specialists on particular challenges.

2 - ECONOMIC INTELLIGENCE AND FORECASTING TEAM

Matt Rooke, Aldabra Stoddart

This team is responsible for the PACEC Local Economic Performance System (LEPS) which adds value to ONS and other data to provide an analysis of trends and performance for local areas and regions using indicators tracked over time.

The team also manages the economic forecasting service, the input/output model, and the Impact Assessment Model (IAM) which permits the impact of agencies to be estimated.

The team offers a bespoke modelling service which incorporates data from LEPS, and our own survey research to produce highly customised outputs. This service has recently been used for analysis in the chemicals, air transport, sporting, agricultural, and oil and gas sectors.

3 - SURVEY RESEARCH: IN-HOUSE FIELDWORK TEAM

PACEC has the capacity and experience to undertake the survey research required for projects using email/online facilities, telephone interviews, face to face interviews or postal surveys. We also carry out in-depth qualitative interview programmes and case studies.

Our fieldwork team is trained in house to ensure quality and a rigorous approach to research.

4 - SURVEY AND DATA ANALYSIS TEAM

This team is responsible for the verification, testing, and statistical analysis of survey results and presentation to clients along with other sources of information, including client databases and longitudinal surveys, which are designed to track change.
